By registering an account as an Agniveer or a Recruiter on our platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect
To deliver a tailored career transitioning experience, we collect multiple classes of data depending on your chosen application role (Agniveer or Recruiter).
Personal Account Information: Full name, verified mobile number, email address, marital status, gender, and profile photo/avatar.
Military & Service Record Details (Agniveers): Agniveer status, active/ex-military force category (Army, Navy, Air Force), rank, joining date, exit/retirement date, service responsibilities, specialized military training, and core technical skills.
Resume & Career Credentials: Uploaded resumes, courses enrolled, external certification details (credential IDs, issuing organizations, and credential URLs).
Geographic & Location Data: City and state of residence. Additionally, for our peer-to-peer networking map feature ("Agniveers Near Me Map"), we collect geographic latitude and longitude coordinates.
Recruiter & Corporate Profile: Corporate registration parameters, industry classification, organization name, job listings, and hiring history.
Interaction Data: Peer-to-peer messaging details, connection requests, application logs for jobs/assistance loans/insurance, and franchise enquiries.
3. How We Use Your Information
We utilize the collected information to power features that ease military-to-civilian career pipelines:
Jobs Pipeline
Allowing verified recruiters to view ex-military talent, match criteria, shortlist candidates, and contact you for employment opportunities.
Peer Networking
Plotting general location pins on the "Agniveers Near Me Map" within a calculated distance radius so peers can network locally.
Reskilling
Matching your ex-service profile to career reskilling courses aggregated from top national and international learning portals.
Loans & Aid
Auto-populating application forms for dynamic financial aid, franchise models, and insurance schemes to avoid repeated inputs.
4. Classified Information & Military Safety
Due to the sensitive nature of military service, AgniManthan enforces a strict Classified Information Policy:
Defense Information Prohibitions
Agniveers are strictly prohibited from inputting tactical unit numbers, sensitive operations, deployable security coordinates, specific military base layouts, or details classified under the Official Secrets Act in their bio, skills, or responsibilities input fields.
All profile input data is dynamically sanitized. Profiles flagged for security violations will be immediately locked or queued for manual removal to maintain the integrity of national defense security protocol.
5. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We prioritize keeping your personal credentials private:
Verified Corporate Partners: Your candidate profile and resumes are only shared with verified corporate recruiters and enterprise employers when you apply for a job or consent to enter a shared talent search database.
Peer Visibility: Other logged-in Agniveers can see your name, rank, force, general city/state, and calculated distance. Excluded from this view are your exact phone number, residential address, or full resume, unless a mutual connection is accepted.
Financial Entities: Financial loan and insurance enquiries are shared directly with the participating credit organizations and scheme provider banks carrying out the review.
Legal Mandates: We may disclose data if required by law enforcement, subpoena, or to prevent fraudulent/unlawful activities in support of national security guidelines.
6. Data Storage & Security
The security of your personal data is vital to us. All information is processed and stored in relational database schemas protected behind firewalls, utilizing JWT tokens and secure APIs for client communications.
Although no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data and continuously perform audits to mitigate software vulnerabilities.
7. Your Rights & Controls
You have full control over your privacy settings and the visibility of your profile in the AgniManthan app:
Profile Deactivation & Correction: You can edit your profile information, reskilling criteria, and resume files directly through the Profile tab.
Map Visibility Toggle: You can hide your visibility on the "Agniveers Near Me Map" at any time through the app settings, which removes your coordinates from peer radius calculations.
Account Deletion: You can submit a deletion request via the Profile settings. Upon confirming deletion, your account is queued, and all profile data, resumes, history, and records are permanently removed from our active database within 24 hours.
